Popular Irish actor to take part in Bake Off special as full line up revealed
Emmett J Scanlan is set to swap scripts for spatulas as he joins the line-up for this year’s Great Celebrity Bake Off.

The Irish actor, best known for his roles in Kin and Peaky Blinders, will appear in the Stand Up To Cancer special on Channel 4 this spring, alongside a star-studded cast that includes radio DJ Scott Mills, social media star Molly-Mae Hague, singer Rag’n’Bone Man, broadcaster and TV personality Vicky Pattison, actor Ralf Little, singer Mutya Buena and comedian Richard Herring.

Each episode will see a fresh group of celebrities enter the iconic Bake Off tent, all hoping to impress the judges while avoiding the dreaded soggy bottom.

Also taking part in this year’s competition are TV and radio presenter Mark Wright, YouTuber and host Nella Rose, comedian Jon Richardson, actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, podcast host Sam Thompson, actress Roisin Conaty, singer and dancer JoJo Siwa, Aston Merrygold, broadcaster Edith Bowman, comedian Alex Brooker and actress Ambika Mod.

Completing the line-up are comedians Joe Wilkinson, Babatunde Aleshe, Rose Matafeo, Tom Davis and Judi Love, who will all tackle the show’s signature, technical and showstopper challenges.

Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign between Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, with all donations going directly towards life-saving research.
