Across the EU, young people are among those most affected by the housing crisis, facing overcrowding, energy poverty, unaffordability, tourism pressures, rural depopulation and discrimination. For this reason, this year's [Y] Factor project focuses on the intersection between housing, youth, and regions and cities. The project, titled Housing for You[th], takes the form of an exhibition in the Jacques Delors building (JDE), Foyer 5. The exhibition raises awareness of the CoR’s role in tackling the housing crisis, showcases best practices from EU regions and cities, and provides a platform for youth perspectives.Â
Housing for You[th]Â runs from 2 to 11 February 2026, with an inaugurating reception event on 3 February at 16:45. Bringing together regional data, diverse best practices and youth testimonies, the exhibition offers an overview of housing challenges and solutions across Europe.
Nota bene: Access to the exhibition is limited to those with pre-existing access to the CoR premises.
