The Northern and Western Regional Assembly is delighted to invite applications for funding under the first Decarbonising Zones Scheme in Ireland.
The Scheme offers 100% grant funding for local projects in or adjacent to the Decarbonising Zones identified in the LACAPs addressing two Action areas:
Local Authorities are invited to apply for funding by 6 Feb 2026.

The Scheme is supported by the Department for Climate Energy and the Environment and co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund Regional Programme which the NWRA manages.
The Decarbonising Zones Scheme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Northern and Western Regional Programme 2021-27.
